State of the art in probability teaching for secondary education in the municipalities of Pereira and Dosquebradas (2006)

This article introduces a descriptive analysis about the topics that are taught, the didactics used and the difficulties discovered in the teaching process of the probability in middle education for the cities of Pereira and Dosquebradas, trying to demonstrate the art status about the way, the topics referring to these fields of education, have been presented to the students, in levels tenth and eleventh, which look for the development of random thought, considered in the basic standards of competences in mathematics, defined by the National Ministry of Education (MEN), exposing part of the final results of the research project “Didactics for the teaching process of probability in middle education”, developed during the year 2006, in order to apply for the title of MA. in the teaching of mathematics.
