This article is a summary of the talk presentedduring the “First Regional Meeting of Natural and Exact Sciences”, as part of the reflections of the research group GEMA, and it describes the use of simulation for the teaching of the Physics for the Industrial Design and Computing and Telecommunications Engineering programsat Universidad Católica Popular del Risaralda. The article proposes the simulation as a tool that lets the student interact with the different phenomena, using variables in combinations which would not be possible with traditional methods.
