Revisión sistemática de técnicas no convencionales para la evaluación de la calidad del agua de ríos contaminados con plaguicidas

Resumen

Se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática de técnicas no convencionales de evaluación de la calidad del agua de ríos contaminados con plaguicidas. Específicamente, se examinaron estudios en los que se considera el estado ecológico y químico de las corrientes, mediante el análisis de múltiples parámetros en muestras de agua, sedimentos y agua inter-poro. La revisión permite inferir que posiblemente estas técnicas son adecuadas para valorar de manera confiable y con menor grado de subjetividad la complejidad de la contaminación de las corrientes superficiales y revela oportunidades para adaptar las técnicas a los contextos locales.

Mario Alberto Jurado Eraso, Universidad Mariana

Ingeniero químico con énfasis en Procesos Químicos, Catalíticos y Biotecnológicos. Especialista y Magister en Ingeniería Sanitaria y Ambiental. Formación Docente no formal. Cuenta con varios artículos internacionales y nacionales publicados. Ha participado como ponente en seminarios a nivel nacional e internacional en el área del diagnóstico de la contaminación. Experiencia profesional como docente a nivel de pregrado y posgrado. Ha sido, Laboratorista a cargo del Laboratorio de Investigaciones Ambientales de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali, Jefe de la planta de tratamiento de lixiviados en la empresa EMAS PASTO S.A. E.S.P y Contratista en las áreas de Modelación Ambiental y Transporte de Contaminantes en Corrientes Superficiales y Ecotoxicología. Actualmente labora como docente investigador para el Programa de Ingeniería Ambiental de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Mariana (Pasto-Colombia). Siendo Miembro del Grupo de Investigaciones Ambientales (GIA).

Iván Darío Mercado Martínez, Universidad del Atlántico

Ingeniero químico con énfasis en el Área Ambiental, Especialista y Magister en Ingeniería Ambiental. Cuenta con varios artículos internacionales (20) y nacionales (10) publicados. Ha sido investigador de los grupos de Colciencias: TECNOAMBIENTAL, avalado por la Universidad Libre de Colombia sede Bogotá; y GICI, avalado por la Universidad De San Buenaventura seccional Cartagena. Además, ha dictado clases en la Universidad del Magdalena (Santa Marta), Universidad de San Buenaventura seccional Cartagena y Universidad del Atlántico.

Actualmente labora como docente investigador para el Programa de Ingeniería Agroindustrial de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad del Atlántico (Barranquilla-Colombia). Siendo Miembro del Grupo de Investigaciones agroindustrial (GIA) y Miembro del Grupo de Investigación en Biotecnología de Microalgas, Fisicoquímica Aplicada y Estudios Ambientales.
