Abstract

Teaching as one of the main functions of “La Universidad Católica Popular del Risaralda”, inspires our way to act in relation to the Industrial Design Program. Thinking about the teaching action, allows us to create conciousness of the teaching - learning process, starting from questions that feedback our duty. The text is based in the recognition of the concepts of educability and teachability relating them with the experiences in the faculty, it is also supported in the history of the design teaching, because, to examine its course allows us to go beyond the traditional practices and finally it shows the processes applied in the Faculty.
