Abstract

This paper makes a reflection about the reasons of the difficulties for ecological economics to become a paradigm. The general sense is that the problematic plurality and the emergence of the inter-transdisciplinary as a method are meaningless within the theoretical and methodological corpus of traditional environmental economics (neoclassical). Because of this, ecological economics do not constitute a core attack, hence the difficulty to overcome that dominant paradigm.
