Abstract

With the process of economic liberalization, Colombia has been in the need to create new systems that guide the development of internationalization of the sectors in the economy. As companies are connected to global trade, they begin to consider the supply chain area as a basic tool to improve the competitiveness of their products. The study pretends to analyze the logistic conditions in Colombia and its competitiveness within the international business context. It was determined that to develop infrastructure projects it is require high levels of investment, political will and count with plenty of feedback instruments that could anticipate any unexpected situation about a company´s logistic process.
