Abstract

The fair is a social, cultural and commercial event, established temporary and periodically, with the aim of stimulating a profitable activity. For the case study, it was taken into consideration the craft fairs located in outdoor spaces, that even though they have been developed from a while back, they lack of a formal aesthetic evaluation. This is why the project parts from conception of the stand from the notion of ephemeral architecture as it is contemplated as a temporary construction. In the article a modulation is proposed based on environmental psychology and proxemics as a theoretical foundation in the delimitation of spaces and their creation; this way a perceptive thread is established from configuration paths for linking of spaces. Clearly, the project must have continuity in the development of different accessories for the exhibition of crafts as there is no homogeneity of merchandise, which makes it difficult to standardize on a single type of surface or platform that adapts to each of the products.
