Stress reducer feeding system for pigs in development during the production process

Abstract

This article summarizes a research project that manages from design to enter into the production practices of the Colombian pig industry. Based on the need to provide "welfare of animals", a feeder that promotes the natural-playful behavior of animals is designed, reducing the level of stress that they have in captivity. Despite not having been tested in the industrial context, the product had a good performance during its experiments in a farm.
