Abstract

This article describes the first steps of an investigation (ongoing to 2015), aimed at elucidating the acoustic properties of the waste material generated in the bamboo guadua industrialization process, for which it requires a measuring instrument developed with the research harverster SeDisTec, as support for the characterization of acoustic impedance properties of the various analyzed material samples; as part of the outlined goals in the project. The proposed methodology is Empirical Research Through Design Method -ERTDM- which allows the knowledge generation through prototypes development. During theoretical framework construction, Is evident the need for physical infrastructure and instrumentation that can be used for other research experiences related to these issues and from industrial design can be developed from the appropriate technology and resources availability
