Circumstances prompting change in contemporary religion
Abstract
This article shows how religion has been a building factor in society and culture in all times and places, providing and giving meaning to human existence. The article also illustrates how religion has not been static and, on the contrary, has undergone transformations prornpted by new epochs and by novel emerging phenomenon that have compelled individuals to express and practice their religiosity in a more personal way.
